A common theme among addicts is that no one ever began using with the idea that they may one day become an addict.  We have heard countless stories from our clients as to why they started using drugs in the first place. Some began using because it brought them relief from physical pain or hurtful emotions. Some began using drugs because they had been encouraged by their family or their peers.  Others may have been prescribed an addictive substance following a medical procedure and from then on they were hooked.

The time you will invest in the LiveFree Online Addiction Recovery Training is an investment in a healthier future, which benefits you, your family and your career.  Our highly skilled team will work with you to help resolve behavioral issues as well as emotional issues and empower you to take courageous steps in forgiving yourself for past mistakes.  With the help of LiveFree, a lasting recovery is truly attainable.

If you are unsure whether or not you may be an addict, we encourage you to consider the following behavioral patterns:

Consistent failure to resist impulses.

Frequent displays of those behaviors – and to a greater extent or over a longer period of time than intended.

A persistent desire to stop, as well as a consistent pattern of unsuccessful efforts to stop, those behaviors.

Devoting an inordinate amount of time obtaining the object of the addiction … or engaging in or recovering from the destructive behavior over and over.

Preoccupation with the behavior, including preparatory activities.

A frequent foregoing of occupational, academic, domestic or social obligations, in favor of a destructive behavior.

An inability to stop or control a behavior, despite the acknowledgement that it can/will have destructive effects on social, academic, financial, psychological or physical endeavors.

The need to increase the intensity, frequency, number or risk of the destructive behaviors to achieve the desired effect. Also, the diminished effect with continued behaviors at the same level of intensity, frequency, number or risk.

Avoiding or eliminating social, occupational or recreational activities because of the behavior.

Lapsing into moods marked by distress, anxiety, restlessness or violence when the behavior isn’t engaged.

If you identify with these symptoms, your drug use may already be a cause for concern. The more symptoms you have, the more urgent need for change. Please give us a call so that we can conduct a free screening of your symptoms
